Identification of risk factors for cardiovascular diseases based on multi-omics studies

摘要: 心血管疾病(cardiovascular diseases,CVD)是我国城乡居民的首位死因,其病因尚未完全阐明。传统单一组学研究方法存在一定的局限性,难以全面阐明CVD的危险因素和发病机制。采取前瞻性队列结合多组学的研究策略,进一步在中国人群中明确新的CVD危险因素,阐明CVD的病因及发病机制,有助于提高我国CVD的防控水平。Abstract: Cardiovascular diseases (CVD) are leading causes of death in China. Complex and dynamic networks of molecules are involved in CVD. As compared to studies of a single omics type, multi-omics offers the opportunity to understand the flow of information that underlies disease. To improve prevention and control standards of CVD in China, we need to carry out multi-omics studies in prospective cohorts to find additional risk factors and elucidate the disease mechanisms.
