The pioneer of public health in British: Edwin Chadwick

摘要: 埃德温·查德威克（Edwin Chadwick，1800—1890）是英国著名的社会改革家，杰出的公共卫生领袖。他的《大不列颠劳动人口卫生状况的调查报告》促进了英国民众卫生意识的觉醒，是公共卫生发展史上最具影响力的文件之一。他领导的卫生改革开创了英国公共卫生运动的先河，其倡导的国家管控公共卫生思想成为后世公共卫生制度演变的基础。

Abstract: Edwin Chadwick (1800—1890)was a famous politician of British and an outstanding public health leader. His paper, report on the sanitary condition of the labouring population of Great Britain, promoted the awakening of public health awareness in Britis hand is one of the most influential files in the history of public health; He led the first public health campaign of British, and the idea of managing public health by the state has become the basis of the future public health system.
